The Dolomites, a winter wonderland

Silent woods, shimmering ice crystals and snow-capped peaks: in winter, the Dolomites in the Pustertal valley show their most soothing side. The groomed ski slopes of Mt. Kronplatz, spectacular cross-country ski trails and idyllic winter trekking paths invite you to explore the snowy landscape. After a great day out in the mountains, the Leithäusl farm and its wellness area are the perfect retreat for relaxing in a cosy environment!

A family holiday on the snow

Skiing, building snowmen, winter hiking… here in South Tyrol, you can enjoy winter the way you prefer. When you come back to our farm, pamper yourself in the wholesome heat of our sauna and relax in the warm, cosy atmosphere of your holiday apartment.

A place for everything

You can safely store any sports equipment in our ski room. This way, the dirt stays out of the apartment and you can relax in an uncluttered space, while keeping your skis, ski boots or toboggan always conveniently at hand.

The Kronplatz ski paradise

Situated close by, Mt. Kronplatz is the largest ski area in South Tyrol, with numerous slopes for beginners and experts. From here, you can also challenge yourself on the famous Sellaronda, the circular itinerary around the Sella massif. The ski bus to Mt. Kronplatz stops only 500 metres from here.

Ski touring in the Dolomites

Climbing the Dolomites on skis is an indescribable experience! Onach, St. Lorenzen and the whole Alta Badia area offer lots of unforgettable ski tours with varying degrees of difficulty.

Forest bathing in winter

Step outside and make your way along one of the many beautiful paths through the snowy woods. Some will lead you to idyllic Alpine huts, while others invite you to lace up your snowshoes and climb all the way to the Astjoch pass.

Tobogganing – fun for young and old

How about a toboggan ride? Walk your way up to the Astalm or Munt da Rina (Wellschellen) huts, then slide downhill on the natural toboggan run. The speed is up to you.

Cross-country skiing in Reischach

Hit the cross-country trail and explore the landscape at your own pace. There’s an easy trail that starts from the Reischach sports park near Bruneck and leads through the enchanted wintry landscape. The trail is free to use, and you can hire the equipment at the local Nordic ski school.

The Mobilcard

On arrival, you will receive a complimentary Mobilcard (valid for 7, 3, or 1 day), which gives you unlimited free fares on all public transport in South Tyrol (including buses, regional trains, city buses, ski shuttles etc.).
